Intensive intervention using child-specific approaches, including PROMPT and DTTC. Parent trained to cue child and how to add practice to daily routines.
Apply methods that encourage “smooth” speech and increase speaking confidence. Learn how to best support an individual who stutters in your life.
For parents and children with or without a language delay. Understand your child’s development and how to support language growth.
Improve your child’s pragmatic language skills and confidence. Supports play skills, unspoken social cues, and spoken social communication.
String of Words Speech Therapy is in-network with Kaiser Permanente Northern California. A referral and prior authorization from KP are typically required prior to the start of treatment. Copays in the form of credit, debit, or FSA/HSA card are due at the time of service.
We also provide out-of-network, or private pay, speech therapy. Upon request, String of Words Speech Therapy can provide a monthly superbill with an itemized list of services received. The client can then submit the superbill to their insurance provider for possible reimbursement. It is recommended that clients contact their insurance company for reimbursement requirements specific to their individual insurance plan prior to evaluation and/or treatment.
